This center specializes in residential and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) aimed at addressing the complex needs of veterans and first responders grappling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Spread over an impressive 400-acre campus, the facility provides a blend of private and semi-private accommodations, complemented by a range of amenities including a firepit, a music studio, a yoga room, communal TV areas, access to natural surroundings, a swimming pool, and horse stables.

At the heart of its approach, Transformations Mending Fences employs a diverse array of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. These include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and medication-assisted treatments. The center also emphasizes experiential therapies, offering music therapy, recreational therapy, art therapy, and adventure therapy. Additionally, it provides specialized group therapy sessions focusing on various aspects such as managing guilt and shame, LGBTQIA+-specific issues, nutrition, trauma, self-esteem, and a comprehensive family program.
